Before You Visit

Prepare for your session

A few simple things help you get the most from your time on the table. Nothing complicated, just a little preparation so you can fully relax and we can focus on the work.

01

Arrive a few minutes early

Give yourself a few minutes to arrive, settle in, and use the restroom so you can ease into your session feeling unhurried.

02

Hydrate

Drinking water before and after your session helps your muscles respond to the work and supports recovery afterward.

03

Eat lightly

Try not to arrive on a completely empty stomach or immediately after a heavy meal. A light snack an hour or so beforehand is ideal.

04

Come comfortable and fresh

Arriving freshly showered helps you relax and keeps the space comfortable for both of us. Wear whatever you feel at ease in, you'll undress only to your comfort level.

05

Go easy on fragrance

Please skip heavy perfume, cologne, or scented lotion right before your appointment. Many people are sensitive to strong scents in a small treatment room.

06

Tell me what's going on

Share any injuries, sensitivities, areas of focus, or spots to avoid, and speak up anytime about pressure or comfort. This is your session, and your feedback shapes it.

What to expect

Your first visit

We'll start by talking through your health history and what you're hoping to work on. This helps me tailor the session to your body and your goals.

You'll undress to your level of comfort and lie on the table beneath a sheet and blanket. You will always be properly draped, and only the area being worked on is ever uncovered. I'll step out of the room while you get settled, and knock before returning.

Throughout the session, your comfort comes first. If anything feels too firm, too light, too warm, or too cold, just say so, adjusting to you is part of the work.

What you hear during your session is entirely up to you. Play your own music or podcast, whatever helps you settle in. If you'd rather Brittany choose, she'll usually put on her go-to massage playlist.

"Every busy soul needs a place of repose. I look forward to helping you find yours."
