Appointments & Cancellations
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. To respect the schedules of all clients, at least 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
- No-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
I understand that life happens. Emergencies, illness, and unforeseen circumstances are always considered on a case-by-case basis, and fees are applied at the discretion of Harbor House Massage.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to avoid impacting the appointments of other clients. The full session fee will still apply.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication, the appointment may be considered a no-show.
Frequent Rescheduling
Occasional schedule changes are understandable. However, repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling may result in:
- Limited booking availability
- Refusal of future appointments at the discretion of Harbor House Massage
Professional Boundaries
Harbor House Massage is a professional therapeutic massage practice.
Any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session. The full service fee will be charged, and the client will be permanently dismissed from the practice.
Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for providing accurate health information and notifying the therapist of any changes to their health, medications, injuries, or medical conditions.
If you are feeling unwell or have a contagious illness or skin condition, please reschedule your appointment. Doing so protects your health, the therapist's health, and that of other clients, and rescheduling for this reason will not be treated as a late cancellation.
Harbor House Massage reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment when massage is contraindicated or when client safety cannot be reasonably maintained.
Right to Refuse Service
Harbor House Massage reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Inappropriate behavior
- Repeated policy violations
- Failure to follow professional boundaries
- Safety concerns for the client or therapist
